2. QS. Al-Baqarah (Sapi Betina) - 286 Ayat
تِلْكَ اُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُمْ مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُوْنَ عَمَّا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ࣖ ۔
141. Itulah umat yang telah lalu. Baginya apa yang telah mereka usahakan dan bagimu apa yang telah kamu usahakan. Dan kamu tidak akan diminta (pertanggungjawaban) tentang apa yang dahulu mereka kerjakan.
That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
سَيَقُوْلُ السُّفَهَاۤءُ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَا وَلّٰىهُمْ عَنْ قِبْلَتِهِمُ الَّتِيْ كَانُوْا عَلَيْهَا ۗ قُلْ لِّلّٰهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُۗ يَهْدِيْ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ
142. Orang-orang yang kurang akal di antara manusia akan berkata, “Apakah yang memalingkan mereka (Muslim) dari kiblat yang dahulu mereka (berkiblat) kepadanya?” Katakanlah (Muhammad), “Milik Allah-lah timur dan barat; Dia memberi petunjuk kepada siapa yang Dia kehendaki ke jalan yang lurus.”
The foolish among the people will say, “What has turned them away from their qiblah, which they used to face?” Say, “To Allah belongs the east and the west. He guides whom He wills to a straight path.”
وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلْنٰكُمْ اُمَّةً وَّسَطًا لِّتَكُوْنُوْا شُهَدَاۤءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَيَكُوْنَ الرَّسُوْلُ عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيْدًا ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الْقِبْلَةَ الَّتِيْ كُنْتَ عَلَيْهَآ اِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَنْ يَّتَّبِعُ الرَّسُوْلَ مِمَّنْ يَّنْقَلِبُ عَلٰى عَقِبَيْهِۗ وَاِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَبِيْرَةً اِلَّا عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ هَدَى اللّٰهُ ۗوَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُضِيْعَ اِيْمَانَكُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ
143. Dan demikian pula Kami telah menjadikan kamu (umat Islam) ”umat pertengahan” agar kamu menjadi saksi atas (perbuatan) manusia dan agar Rasul (Muhammad) menjadi saksi atas (perbuatan) kamu. Kami tidak menjadikan kiblat yang (dahulu) kamu (berkiblat) kepadanya melainkan agar Kami mengetahui siapa yang mengikuti Rasul dan siapa yang berbalik ke belakang. Sungguh, (pemindahan kiblat) itu sangat berat, kecuali bagi orang yang telah diberi petunjuk oleh Allah. Dan Allah tidak akan menyia-nyiakan imanmu. Sungguh, Allah Maha Pengasih, Maha Penyayang kepada manusia.
And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.
قَدْ نَرٰى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِى السَّمَاۤءِۚ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضٰىهَا ۖ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۗ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنْتُمْ فَوَلُّوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ شَطْرَهٗ ۗ وَاِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ لَيَعْلَمُوْنَ اَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۗ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُوْنَ
144. Kami melihat wajahmu (Muhammad) sering menengadah ke langit, maka akan Kami palingkan engkau ke kiblat yang engkau senangi. Maka hadapkanlah wajahmu ke arah Masjidilharam. Dan di mana saja engkau berada, hadapkanlah wajahmu ke arah itu. Dan sesungguhnya orang-orang yang diberi Kitab (Taurat dan Injil) tahu, bahwa (pemindahan kiblat) itu adalah kebenaran dari Tuhan mereka. Dan Allah tidak lengah terhadap apa yang mereka kerjakan.
We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer]. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do.
وَلَىِٕنْ اَتَيْتَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ بِكُلِّ اٰيَةٍ مَّا تَبِعُوْا قِبْلَتَكَ ۚ وَمَآ اَنْتَ بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَتَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا بَعْضُهُمْ بِتَابِعٍ قِبْلَةَ بَعْضٍۗ وَلَىِٕنِ اتَّبَعْتَ اَهْوَاۤءَهُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ مَاجَاۤءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ ۙ اِنَّكَ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ۘ
145. Dan walaupun engkau (Muhammad) memberikan semua ayat (keterangan) kepada orang-orang yang diberi Kitab itu, mereka tidak akan mengikuti kiblatmu, dan engkau pun tidak akan mengikuti kiblat mereka. Sebagian mereka tidak akan mengikuti kiblat sebagian yang lain. Dan jika engkau mengikuti keinginan mereka setelah sampai ilmu kepadamu, niscaya eng-kau termasuk orang-orang zalim.
And if you brought to those who were given the Scripture every sign, they would not follow your qiblah. Nor will you be a follower of their qiblah. Nor would they be followers of one another’s qiblah. So if you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, indeed, you would then be among the wrongdoers.
اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰتَيْنٰهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ يَعْرِفُوْنَهٗ كَمَا يَعْرِفُوْنَ اَبْنَاۤءَهُمْ ۗ وَاِنَّ فَرِيْقًا مِّنْهُمْ لَيَكْتُمُوْنَ الْحَقَّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ
146. Orang-orang yang telah Kami beri Kitab (Taurat dan Injil) mengenalnya (Muhammad) seperti mereka mengenal anak-anak mereka sendiri. Sesungguhnya sebagian mereka pasti menyembunyikan kebenaran, padahal mereka mengetahui(nya).
Those to whom We gave the Scripture know him as they know their own sons. But indeed, a party of them conceal the truth while they know [it].
اَلْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِيْنَ
147. Kebenaran itu dari Tuhanmu, maka janganlah sekali-kali engkau (Muhammad) termasuk orang-orang yang ragu.
The truth is from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.
وَلِكُلٍّ وِّجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيْهَا فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرٰتِۗ اَيْنَ مَا تَكُوْنُوْا يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللّٰهُ جَمِيْعًا ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
148. Dan setiap umat mempunyai kiblat yang dia menghadap kepadanya. Maka berlomba-lombalah kamu dalam kebaikan. Di mana saja kamu berada, pasti Allah akan mengumpulkan kamu semuanya. Sungguh, Allah Mahakuasa atas segala sesuatu.
For each [religious following] is a direction toward which it faces. So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth [for judgement] all together. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۗ وَاِنَّهٗ لَلْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ ۗ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ
149. Dan dari manapun engkau (Muhammad) keluar, hadapkanlah wajahmu ke arah Masjidilharam, sesungguhnya itu benar-benar ketentuan dari Tuhanmu. Allah tidak lengah terhadap apa yang kamu kerjakan.
So from wherever you go out [for prayer, O Muhammad] turn your face toward al- Masjid al-Haram, and indeed, it is the truth from your Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۗ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنْتُمْ فَوَلُّوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ شَطْرَهٗ ۙ لِئَلَّا يَكُوْنَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِيْ وَلِاُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِيْ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَۙ
150. Dan dari manapun engkau (Muhammad) keluar, maka hadapkanlah wajahmu ke arah Masjidilharam. Dan di mana saja kamu berada, maka hadapkanlah wajahmu ke arah itu, agar tidak ada alasan bagi manusia (untuk menentangmu), kecuali orang-orang yang zalim di antara mereka. Janganlah kamu takut kepada mereka, tetapi takutlah kepada-Ku, agar Aku sempurnakan nikmat-Ku kepadamu, dan agar kamu mendapat petunjuk.
And from wherever you go out [for prayer], turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] may be, turn your faces toward it in order that the people will not have any argument against you, except for those of them who commit wrong; so fear them not but fear Me. And [it is] so I may complete My favor upon you and that you may be guided.
