89. Surah Al-Fajr (Fajar) - 30 Ayat
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Dengan nama Allah Yang Maha Pengasih, Maha Penyayang.
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
وَالْفَجْرِۙ
1. Demi fajar,
By the dawn
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍۙ
2. demi malam yang sepuluh,
And [by] ten nights
وَّالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِۙ
3. demi yang genap dan yang ganjil,
And [by] the even [number] and the odd
وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا يَسْرِۚ
4. demi malam apabila berlalu.
And [by] the night when it passes,
هَلْ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِّذِيْ حِجْرٍۗ
5. Adakah pada yang demikian itu terdapat sumpah (yang dapat diterima) bagi orang-orang yang berakal?
Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception?
اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍۖ
6. Tidakkah engkau (Muhammad) memperhatikan bagaimana Tuhanmu berbuat terhadap (kaum) ‘Ad?
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with ‘Aad –
اِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِۖ
7. (yaitu) penduduk Iram (ibukota kaum ‘Ad) yang mempunyai bangunan-bangunan yang tinggi,
[With] Iram – who had lofty pillars,
الَّتِيْ لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِى الْبِلَادِۖ
8. yang belum pernah dibangun (suatu kota) seperti itu di negeri-negeri lain,
The likes of whom had never been created in the land?
وَثَمُوْدَ الَّذِيْنَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِۖ
9. dan (terhadap) kaum samud yang memotong batu-batu besar di lembah,
And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley?
وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِى الْاَوْتَادِۖ
10. dan (terhadap) Fir‘aun yang mempunyai pasak-pasak (bangunan yang besar),
And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? –
الَّذِيْنَ طَغَوْا فِى الْبِلَادِۖ
11. yang berbuat sewenang-wenang dalam negeri,
[All of] whom oppressed within the lands
فَاَكْثَرُوْا فِيْهَا الْفَسَادَۖ
12. lalu mereka banyak berbuat kerusakan dalam negeri itu,
And increased therein the corruption.
فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍۖ
13. karena itu Tuhanmu menimpakan cemeti azab kepada mereka,
So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment.
اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِۗ
14. sungguh, Tuhanmu benar-benar mengawasi.
Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
فَاَمَّا الْاِنْسَانُ اِذَا مَا ابْتَلٰىهُ رَبُّهٗ فَاَكْرَمَهٗ وَنَعَّمَهٗۙ فَيَقُوْلُ رَبِّيْٓ اَكْرَمَنِۗ
15. Maka adapun manusia, apabila Tuhan mengujinya lalu memuliakannya dan memberinya kesenangan, maka dia berkata, “Tuhanku telah memuliakanku.”
And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, “My Lord has honored me.”
وَاَمَّآ اِذَا مَا ابْتَلٰىهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهٗ ەۙ فَيَقُوْلُ رَبِّيْٓ اَهَانَنِۚ
16. Namun apabila Tuhan mengujinya lalu membatasi rezekinya, maka dia berkata, “Tuhanku telah menghinaku.”
But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, “My Lord has humiliated me.”
كَلَّا بَلْ لَّا تُكْرِمُوْنَ الْيَتِيْمَۙ
17. Sekali-kali tidak! Bahkan kamu tidak memuliakan anak yatim,
No! But you do not honor the orphan
وَلَا تَحٰۤضُّوْنَ عَلٰى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِۙ
18. dan kamu tidak saling mengajak memberi makan orang miskin,
And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.
وَتَأْكُلُوْنَ التُّرَاثَ اَكْلًا لَّمًّاۙ
19. sedangkan kamu memakan harta warisan dengan cara mencampurbaurkan (yang halal dan yang haram),
And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,
وَّتُحِبُّوْنَ الْمَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّاۗ
20. dan kamu mencintai harta dengan kecintaan yang berlebihan.
And you love wealth with immense love.
كَلَّآ اِذَا دُكَّتِ الْاَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّاۙ
21. Sekali-kali tidak! Apabila bumi diguncangkan berturut-turut (berbenturan),
No! When the earth has been leveled – pounded and crushed –
وَّجَاۤءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّاۚ
22. dan datanglah Tuhanmu; dan malaikat berbaris-baris,
And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,
وَجِايْۤءَ يَوْمَىِٕذٍۢ بِجَهَنَّمَۙ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ يَّتَذَكَّرُ الْاِنْسَانُ وَاَنّٰى لَهُ الذِّكْرٰىۗ
23. dan pada hari itu diperlihatkan neraka Jahanam; pada hari itu sadarlah manusia, tetapi tidak berguna lagi baginya kesadaran itu.
And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell – that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?
يَقُوْلُ يٰلَيْتَنِيْ قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِيْۚ
24. Dia berkata, “Alangkah baiknya sekiranya dahulu aku mengerjakan (kebajikan) untuk hidupku ini.”
He will say, “Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life.”
فَيَوْمَىِٕذٍ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهٗٓ اَحَدٌ ۙ
25. Maka pada hari itu tidak ada seorang pun yang mengazab seperti azab-Nya (yang adil),
So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,
وَّلَا يُوْثِقُ وَثَاقَهٗٓ اَحَدٌ ۗ
26. dan tidak ada seorang pun yang mengikat seperti ikatan-Nya.
And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].
يٰٓاَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَىِٕنَّةُۙ
27. Wahai jiwa yang tenang!
[To the righteous it will be said], “O reassured soul,
ارْجِعِيْٓ اِلٰى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَّرْضِيَّةً ۚ
28. Kembalilah kepada Tuhanmu dengan hati yang rida dan diridai-Nya.
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
فَادْخُلِيْ فِيْ عِبٰدِيْۙ
29. Maka masuklah ke dalam golongan hamba-hamba-Ku,
And enter among My [righteous] servants
وَادْخُلِيْ جَنَّتِيْ
30. dan masuklah ke dalam surga-Ku.
And enter My Paradise.”
