91. Surah As-Syams (Matahari) 15 - Ayat
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Dengan nama Allah Yang Maha Pengasih, Maha Penyayang.
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحٰىهَاۖ
1. Demi matahari dan sinarnya pada pagi hari,
By the sun and its brightness
وَالْقَمَرِ اِذَا تَلٰىهَاۖ
2. demi bulan apabila mengiringinya,
And [by] the moon when it follows it
وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا جَلّٰىهَاۖ
3. demi siang apabila menampakkannya,
And [by] the day when it displays it
وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا يَغْشٰىهَاۖ
4. demi malam apabila menutupinya (gelap gulita),
And [by] the night when it covers it
وَالسَّمَاۤءِ وَمَا بَنٰىهَاۖ
5. demi langit serta pembinaannya (yang menakjubkan),
And [by] the sky and He who constructed it
وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا طَحٰىهَاۖ
6. demi bumi serta penghamparannya,
And [by] the earth and He who spread it
وَنَفْسٍ وَّمَا سَوّٰىهَاۖ
7. demi jiwa serta penyempurnaan (ciptaan)nya,
And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it
فَاَلْهَمَهَا فُجُوْرَهَا وَتَقْوٰىهَاۖ
8. maka Dia mengilhamkan kepadanya (jalan) kejahatan dan ketakwaannya,
And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,
قَدْ اَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكّٰىهَاۖ
9. sungguh beruntung orang yang menyucikannya (jiwa itu),
He has succeeded who purifies it,
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسّٰىهَاۗ
10. dan sungguh rugi orang yang mengotorinya.
And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ بِطَغْوٰىهَآ ۖ
11. (Kaum) samud telah mendustakan (rasulnya) karena mereka melampaui batas (zalim),
Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,
اِذِ انْۢبَعَثَ اَشْقٰىهَاۖ
12. ketika bangkit orang yang paling celaka di antara mereka,
When the most wretched of them was sent forth.
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ نَاقَةَ اللّٰهِ وَسُقْيٰهَاۗ
13. lalu Rasul Allah (Saleh) berkata kepada mereka, “(Biarkanlah) unta betina dari Allah ini dengan minumannya.”
And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, “[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink.”
فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَعَقَرُوْهَاۖ فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِذَنْۢبِهِمْ فَسَوّٰىهَاۖ
14. Namun mereka mendustakannya dan menyembelihnya, karena itu Tuhan membinasakan mereka karena dosanya, lalu diratakan-Nya (dengan tanah),
But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them].
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبٰهَا
15. dan Dia tidak takut terhadap akibatnya.
And He does not fear the consequence thereof.
