68. QS. Al-Qalam (Pena) - 52 Ayat
فَتَنَادَوْا مُصْبِحِيْنَۙ
21. lalu pada pagi hari mereka saling memanggil.
And they called one another at morning,
اَنِ اغْدُوْا عَلٰى حَرْثِكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰرِمِيْنَ
22. ”Pergilah pagi-pagi ke kebunmu jika kamu hendak memetik hasil.”
[Saying], “Go early to your crop if you would cut the fruit.”
فَانْطَلَقُوْا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُوْنَۙ
23. Maka mereka pun berangkat sambil berbisik-bisik.
So they set out, while lowering their voices,
اَنْ لَّا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّسْكِيْنٌۙ
24. ”Pada hari ini jangan sampai ada orang miskin masuk ke dalam kebunmu.”
[Saying], “There will surely not enter it today upon you [any] poor person.”
وَّغَدَوْا عَلٰى حَرْدٍ قٰدِرِيْنَ
25. Dan berangkatlah mereka pada pagi hari dengan niat menghalangi (orang-orang miskin) padahal mereka mampu (menolongnya).
And they went early in determination, [assuming themselves] able.
فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهَا قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا لَضَاۤلُّوْنَۙ
26. Maka ketika mereka melihat kebun itu, mereka berkata, “Sungguh, kita ini benar-benar orang-orang yang sesat,
But when they saw it, they said, “Indeed, we are lost;
بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُوْمُوْنَ
27. bahkan kita tidak memperoleh apa pun,”
Rather, we have been deprived.”
قَالَ اَوْسَطُهُمْ اَلَمْ اَقُلْ لَّكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُوْنَ
28. berkatalah seorang yang paling bijak di antara mereka, “Bukankah aku telah mengatakan kepadamu, mengapa kamu tidak bertasbih (kepada Tuhanmu).”
The most moderate of them said, “Did I not say to you, ‘Why do you not exalt [Allah]?’ “
قَالُوْا سُبْحٰنَ رَبِّنَآ اِنَّا كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيْنَ
29. Mereka mengucapkan, “Mahasuci Tuhan kami, sungguh, kami adalah orang-orang yang zalim.”
They said, “Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, we were wrongdoers.”
فَاَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ يَّتَلَاوَمُوْنَ
30. Lalu mereka saling berhadapan dan saling menyalahkan.
Then they approached one another, blaming each other.
